In your introduction you briefly talk about the how you came to your claim. Now comes the research part. You should be reading a book. You should also have magazine and Internet resources.
Lilia might be the only exception as her topic is around psychology and how songs reflect the personality of the author.
It would be good to start with the book you're reading. Take notes about your topic especially information that helps support and clarify your claim. This is also the place where quotes are important. It is really good if experts in the subject area agree with your thesis statement.
The handout says to use note cards and number them to the bibliography entry.
You can take notes on the website, so your information is always with you and you don't have loose cards laying around. **However, if you want to use cards, I have plenty of them.
There are a few ways to do digital card to gather your research.
